Week One of the Journey to Clean Eating

Back to the Big Boss…these are also great at holidays! Last Thanksgiving I was able to use one for a spiral ham and one for 3 of the 3 lb. turkey breasts (yep, they all fit!). These cooked off to the side, leaving the oven free for other things. Clean up is a breeze. This is one of my favorite kitchen appliances!
Day four we had chicken with fresh bruschetta along with veggies. Delicious. No soda today.
Day five and six are freebies (we’ve decided to consider Friday and Saturday our weekend and then Sunday we prepare a meal at home and get ready for the week).
I also purchased a Samsung Gear Fit. It is another game-changer for sure!! I’m using it to track my sleep patterns and my steps each day for now, although it does a lot more than that. I love that it syncs up with my phone and, in addition to the fitness tools, it allows me some basic features from the convenience of my wrist for messages, phone calls, alarms, etc. I wasn’t sure how I’d like it on my wrist as I haven’t worn a watch in over 10 years but it feels pretty comfortable and I don’t mind it at all. I may choose to get a few colored wristbands for it for variety. The battery life is great too. Lasts a long time.
Over all, I feel like week one was a success. I’m not going to do updates all the time on here but do feel it helps to check in and share with you.
