Watkins Books recently published a new book called 100 Spiritual Power List.  To make the list, the person has to be alive, has to have contributed on a global scale, and needs to be sought out regularly.  This list has some great people on it.  From Eckhart Tolle to Wayne Dyer to Louise Hay to Byron Katie, just to name a few of my favorites.  You can see the list using the link in the beginning of this post and read about the top 10 on the website as well.

A couple of things stood out to me and I was curious what others might think.  The #1 thing is that 74% of those who made the list are men.  What’s up with that?  Is that an accurate reflection of the number of men vs. women who make a difference in this world?  In more local circles, there are lots of comments made that they seem to be filled with women vs. men.  So how is it that so many of those recognized are men?  Do we not put ourselves out there enough as women?

I find myself still processing and in a state of confusion about this…What do you think?
