This is a follow up to my post here. Fast forward to 2014 and I find myself in a completely new space. It’s been a tough few years and I can’t believe how far I’ve come…how far we’ve come.
I am not the same woman.
He is not the same man.Time apart to explore our own
Means time together today in a new way.
Time does heal.
Time creates opportunities.
Time allows us to grow and
Become all we are meant to be.
This journey is easier
With someone I love at my side.
The man I’ve looked for
All of my life who loves my unconditionally.
Every day I wake up and
Love him more than the day before.
Every day I wake up and
allow myself to be fully loved by another.
I can’t wait to see what tomorrow holds
As individuals sharing this journey.
Supporting each other with caring,
with honesty, and with love.
