Welcome every morning with a smile. Look on the new day as another special gift from your Creator, another golden opportunity to complete what you were unable to finish yesterday. Be a self-starter. Let your first hour set the theme of success and positive action that is certain to echo through your entire day. Today will never happen again. Don’t waste it with a false start or no start at all. You were not born to fail. – Og Mandino
Are you able to start projects, schedule appointments, share about what you do on your own or do you need encouragement along the way to keep you motivated? If you know you are a self-starter and have no problems staying motivated and moving forward on your own, great.
If not, don’t panic. It doesn’t mean you can’t be successful being self-employed. It just means it’s important for your success to surround yourself with people who encourage you…people who believe in you. Let them know you would like their encouragement.
Better yet, consider working with a coach or mentor. A coach or mentor can help keep you on task and help you see all the wonderful progress you are making as you go. Most will visit with you before you sign on to work with them to make sure it’s a good fit. Making the commitment to work with a coach or mentor really is a commitment to your own success.
