The Encarta Dictionary defines success as the achievement of intention or the achievement of something planned or attempted.
Success isn’t just about money. It looks different for most people. For example, I thought having a large wellness center full of other practitioners would mean that I was successful. Once I had it, I realized that there were many aspects to the center that I didn’t really enjoy. It took away from the time and energy I had to do what I really loved so I changed my definition of success and let go of the center and it was the best thing I could have done.
Your definition of success doesn’t need to be static but you do need to know what you want. It goes back to having a plan. What does your day look like? How do you spend your time? How much do you need to make financially to meet your needs and desires? Be intentional with your business. Be clear about what you want and what you need to feel successful. Make a plan to achieve it.
