I really enjoy playing with spices and creating new blends to use rather than always reaching for the easy access store-bought variety. I can control what I put in there and create something that is just to my liking. Here’s another fun one for you. This is great with anything you’d normally put salt on but would enjoy a little kick to it.
- 1 1/2 cups kosher or sea salt
- 3 tbsp Sriracha sauce
- 1 tsp black pepper
- Mix ingredients together in a bowl until well blended.
- Bake at 325 for about 10 minutes – watch it closely as it bakes so it doesn’t begin to turn brown. The main purpose of the baking is to dry it out.
- Put into a container of your choice and mix well to break apart any clumping. The clumping is normal and can easily be broken apart.
