Did you know this week, February 11-17, is Random Acts of Kindness week? When I saw this, I just had to share. After all, we can all use kindness in our lives, right? Being kind to another has a ripple affect…you feel good because you did something nice, the receiver feels good because they had something nice done for them, and the receiver is very likely to pay it forward.
Have you ever bought someone’s food at a restaurant or had your food paid for by another? I had someone buy dessert for myself and a friend at a restaurant a couple of years ago. It was so sweet and so unexpected, I will never forget it. I laugh now, remembering back…we thought someone was hitting on the two of us and weren’t sure whether to be creeped out or grateful. Then we realized it was probably the two nice ladies in the booth next to us who had been listening to our conversation about the Illumination Conference we were working on.
So what can you do this week to spread kindness out into the world and into your heart? Here are some links you might find helpful.
