Pickle Recipe

Equipment

  • 1 Mason jar
  • 1 Measuring cup

Ingredients
  

  • Baby cucumbers
  • 1 handfull Dill
  • 1 cup water
  • 3/4 cup Vinager
  • 1 tablespoon cane sugar
  • Celery seeds to taste
  • Coriander seeds to taste
  • Brown mustard seeds to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon Alum This keeps the cucumbers crunchy
  • 3 thick garlic gloves, grind
  • Sumac to taste
  • Salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • Give the baby cucumbers a good rinse
  • Give the dill a good rinse and cut it in pieces, doing this releases more of its flavor
  • Put the dill in the mason jar, right at the bottom
  • Add the baby cucumbers to fill the mason jar to the top
  • In a measuring cup add the water, vinegar, salt, cane sugar, celery seeds, coriander seeds, brown mustard seeds, alum, garlic gloves and sumac
  • Hit up the water with the seasonings until the cane sugar is completely dissolved. It doesn't have to be boiling hot
  • Add the water to the mason jar where the baby cucumbers are
  • Let the baby cucumbers sit for about 3 days in the fridge and then it's ready to eat!
