Another really fun thing I've discovered are freeze dried marshmallows! These are so good and so fun, especially with all the fun flavors of marshmallows out there.
It's hard to describe the consistency but basically they blow up in size, become somewhat crunchy, and melt in your mouth like cotton candy.
The ones you see in the photo above are Sour Patch Watermelon flavored and they are amazing! I love watermelon and the sour is just the right amount...I don't do sour things well but these are perfect.
I'm not sure who will agree with this and please understand I know these are pretty much pure sugar but hear me out. These end up less concentrated since they grow in size and the calorie content is not too bad for marshmallows so these are nice for a sweet little treat.
I currently have the following flavors in the freeze dryer:
- Swedish Fish
- Popcorn
- Cinnamon Twists
- Banana
- Pineapple
- Strawberry
- Lime
- Lemon
- Orange
- Unicorn Poop (LOL I have no idea what the actual flavor is)
While I'm typing this before they are complete, I will come back and update the photo so when you land here, you'll see the finished products below!
