May’s Color Challenge through Louise Gale was pink.  Funny how I thought this one would be easy since I love the color pink.  It wasn’t.  I settled in on a theme of compassion at the beginning of the month but that’s where this one sat until today, the last day of the month.

Today, I decided to use an image in the background of a weather-beaten moth, who from the looks of it, has seen a lot of trials in its short life.  Next to the moth was a big, healthy-looking bumblebee.  Together they went side by side, drinking from the nectar of the flowers at the lake.  I found a quote I liked that seemed to fit these two creatures as much as it fits all of us out in the world.

We are all one.  When you hurt, I hurt.  I’m sending out peace and joy to everyone today.
