I came across a new challenge all about inspiration through a fellow blogger, Terri.  Terri and I are in another challenge together through Louise Gale using a color palette Louise provides each month.  After seeing this new challenge at Inspiration Avenue, my instant thought was, “Where have you been all my life and I’m sooo in!”  I know how important it is to create opportunities to be creative.

This week’s challenge was to create something inspired by the old nursery rhyme, The Days of the Week, based on the day of the week we were born.  They even included a fun link to look up your day, if you didn’t know it already.  I was born on a Sunday which means I am bonny and blithe and good and gay.  So much sweetness all wrapped in a little package.

The picture in this piece is actually myself and my grandmother on my first birthday.   I don’t have a lot of photos from my childhood so having an opportunity to do something fun with this one was extra special.
