Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow. – Melody Beattie
I have had the best few weeks and thought this would be a great post for the holiday season.
Coming from a space of gratitude truly makes a difference in how we look at life, especially when it becomes a habit vs. an occasional act. It’s easy to forget to express gratitude on a regular basis. When things are going well, we can take it for granted and then when they aren’t going so well, it can be hard to find things to be grateful for. So imagine my excitement when Petrea mentioned this incredible tool in her blog.
Grateful 160 is a website where you can sign up to get emails or text messages reminding you to be grateful. You can reply to them with your list of things you are grateful for and at the end of the week, you get an email with your complete list. Not only does it help me remember to express gratitude every day but it reminds me every week of all the wonderful things I have in my life.
