Funeral Potatoes

Cook Time 1 hour

Ingredients
  

  • 2 lb bag of frozen southern style/diced hash browns
  • 16 oz of sour cream
  • 1 can of cream of chicken
  • 1 stick of melted butter
  • 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese
  • Garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups of crushed corn flakes
  • 6 TBSP of melted butter

Instructions
 

  • Spray a 9×13 baking dish and preheat the oven to 350 degrees
  • Combine diced hash browns, sour cream, cream of chicken, 1 stick of melted butter, shredded cheddar cheese, and some garlic powder. Mix together well.
  • Crush about 2 cups of corn flakes and spread over potatoes.
  • Pour 6 TBSP of butter over the top.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour or until potatoes are cooked through and tender.
  • Note *this can be prepped ahead of time — just wait to top with the cornflakes & butter until right before you bake it!
