Greetings!
Wow! That’s about all I can say. 2010 is definitely starting off well. Life is really busy and seems to just be flowing exactly the way I’d want it to. I love it when that happens. I’m settling into my office at home and I love it. I love both the desk area to work from AND the recliner in the corner to relax in:) I have my books back with me – I love to read and it’s great to see some of the ones I haven’t seen in a while. I also have several I’m ready to share with others – watch for more details coming soon on that.
Probably the most exciting things for me right now with work is how well all the classes are doing. It’s so fun to share information to big groups and I can’t wait to be in Owatonna next week sharing all about auras and chakras and doing photos to a group of 21! AND I’m working with a new web development system and I LOVE it! My favorite parts are how many options there are and that it’s pretty easy once you get the hang of it and I can teach people to maintain their own once it’s set up to save you money in the long run if that’s something you want to do!
I’ve noticed that when I’m in the flow, I feel a lot less anxiety, I feel closer to those around me and I seem to be able to attract more of what I want into my life (imagine that!). How do you know when you are in the flow? I’d love to hear back from you on this subject.
Here are a few tips for the month as well as some events I couldn’t wait to tell you about! I am especially excited about the Illumination Conference. This one is my baby and I am really proud of how well it’s coming together. My dear friends, Joan Steffend, Doreen Johnson and Val Medeiros have been working with me to create a really special day for everyone involved. We are welcoming Maari Anderson to the committee as well and I can’t wait to meet her. Doreen has great things to say about her! New details are coming every day so watch the website for updates often. Ticket sales will begin soon and there are limited spots open so don’t delay in purchasing yours!
The Month of Love
February is often thought of as the month of love. Midway through people are planning romantic dinners with their significant other, close friend or family. It’s great to focus on the love we share with others and equally important to remember that in order to truly love another, we have to love ourselves. When is the last time you spent the energy caring for yourself – doing something special for yourself? I went so long for a stretch there where I seemed to do less and less of this for a variety of reasons but the one thing I never let go of was getting a pedicure. I love pedicures and they make me feel special. Now, not only do I include getting a pedicure in my schedule but I also spend time reading, just hanging out with my animals in that special recliner in my office, going to the movies, getting my hair done regularly, and sometimes just "vegging out" in front of the TV.
What do you do for YOU? What can you add in this month to celebrate how wonderful you are? If you are on Facebook, take a minute to share something you are going to do for yourself this month and encourage others to do the same. Let’s get as many people as possible thinking about how they can honor themselves!
Are You a Stress Eater?
Check out this new product from StressStop.com! It’s a biodot that hangs on your fridge. When you walk over to your fridge, before you pull anything out, put your thumb on the dot and if it comes back black, it means you are stressed and shouldn’t eat. A great visual reminder..
Have a wonderful month filled with love, joy, abundance and success!
