Krazy Salt

This is my version of Jane's Krazy Mixed-Up Salt, one of the best spices out there and a great alternative to straight up salt. This approximately ⅓ various spice and ⅔ salt. You could certainly adjust some of the ingredients to create a different but similar blend. This is my first run through and it's very very good. I may play a little next time and add a little more of some of the ingredients to see how low I can go on the salt and still have the flavor I've come to love all these years.

Ingredients
  • ½ cup sea or kosher salt
  • 2 tsp dried dill weed
  • 2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried minced garlic
  • ½ tsp curry powder
  • ¼ tsp chili powder
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp sage
  • ½ tsp oregano
  • ½ tsp marjoram
  • ½ tsp parsley
Instructions
  1. Mix incredients all together well. If you like, use a food processor or grinder to make a fine ground powder. I did a couple of presses on my coffee grinder, mostly for blending purposes and to eliminate any large chunks of spice but most of the spices are already ground up nicely and a little texture is nice in my book so I don't want it to be too fine in consistency.
  2. Enjoy!
