I’m giving Chipotle a big shout out today for releasing their guacamole recipe online. While it’s a pretty basic recipe…which those of us who like to cook know is usually the best…it’s still not all that common for a restaurant to release a recipe they use. I absolutely love guacamole…really anything that includes avocados (or tomatoes are up there too) so being able to replicate a dish I love in a version I love is awesome!
Plus…bonus time! Avocados are really good for you. They lower cholesterol, improve heart health, help your body absorb nutrients, and they are a great source for Vitamin E and Glutathione which is an antioxidant that researchers say prevents aging, cancer and heart disease.
