My Bliss List

I may, from time to time, offer affiliate links to products or services on my blog. If you click those links, and make a purchase from them, I might make a little cash which I'll likely spend spoiling my furry family.  Thank you for contributing to my bliss!  View full affiliate disclosure.

This coming Monday begins the next leg of my journey of developing and enjoying my blog.  I’m so excited for this challenge, based on the ebook, 31 Days to Build a Better Blog from ProBlogger!  It feels like a perfect fit for the shifts coming in my business later this year (I’ll be sharing more over the next few months here).  As I shared earlier, I successfully completed the last challenge which included 31 posts in 31 days along with a tweet, a post on Facebook and commenting on two other blogs every day.  I’ll be sharing more about this challenge and why I’ve chosen to participate on Saturday so be sure to come back!

Although I had plenty of visits from my bird friends over the week, this week focuses on a different kind of creature.  My daughter and I went to Sharks after Dark on Thursday evening at the Mall of America and spent some time with those who live in water.  It was a challenge to get any good photos since you aren’t allowed to use a flash and many were in aquariums that interfere with the photo, here are a few of my favorites.

The alligator…

The starfish…loved the red on this one!

The seahorse…so many in one little plant…

A different kind of seahorse and only two in this space.  Watching them kind of hang on to the branch and move slowing with the movement of the water was cool.  They reminded me of this older couple who have been married for years and are so comfortable being in the flow of life and the flow of their relationship.

I can’t remember what these were called but they were awesome.  There were in a tank with an eel – not so awesome – and there were several of them.

Ahhhh, the jellyfish.  So graceful and beautiful…we could have watched them forever.  Knowing how dangerous they are added a different level of contemplation for me on how things that are so enticing may not be in our best interest and it’s so important to be in the flow of life and pay attention to all that is around us, mindfully experiencing as we go…

Over the last couple of weeks, I’ve had some major breakthroughs and am wrapping up some old cycles in my life that are ready to be closed and beginning new and exciting ones and I can’t wait to share.

The weather has been so gorgeous lately, I have to mention it!  I’ve had several opportunities to ride with the top down and have found a way to manage my hair to some extent so it doesn’t end up a tangled mess.  Even better!

I was invited to be a guest on someone’s Blog Talk Radio show to talk about branding!  I can’t wait.  We’ll be doing the show in September so watch for more details.

A big thank you again to Liv for reminding me to see the bliss in my week!
