It’s that time again! Here is my weekly bliss…
It was a great week again, mixed in with a few moments of blah (let’s keep it real after all). Where to start…
Last Sunday was another session of bird banding. It was magical, complete with a friend joining me for the first time. I couldn’t control myself and did share a few images on Facebook already (you know it’s good when you can’t wait – screw patience LOL). Here are a few of those blessed moments.
And moving on to the rest of my week…
I managed to get a $100 credit on my Comcast bill to resolve some issues I was having with services. By sticking to my guns, they escalated the issues and resolved them in a very short time and were 100% focused on making me happy. That surprised me and made my day!
I got a new project that I’m really excited about, actually a few. One is a larger job and the others are small-medium project and I’m really happy with how things are going. I’m just adoring the people I’m working with.
Dinner out with friends two nights in a row! I really needed the break and it was so nice to get to spend time with each of them.
I’ve been itching to get back into yoga and know I need a class to go to because it’s just not the same doing it alone for me. I asked on Facebook if anyone knew someone close to me and found a highly recommended teacher who is really close to me and another resource as well! I can’t wait to get started.
Fresh fruit and veggies in my groceries that were DELIVERED! Yes, I used to do this all the time and have only done it one other time since I moved and it was amazing! I loaded up on some yummy food and didn’t have to carry it all up three flights of stairs. A big thank you to Danielle LaPorte for reminding me of the importance of creating systems to make life a little easier so I have the time and energy to do what I love.
A huge breakthrough that feels awesome! I’ve been struggling for some time trying to find the answers I needed on something and thanks to Danielle LaPorte, Alanis Morrisette, and a few issues on a couple of websites, I broke on through to the other side! I feel like I can breath!!! If you haven’t gotten this book yet, I highly recommend it.
And Alanis, I don’t remember where I saw the post that led me to finding this awesome song on YouTube (it’s been replayed several times on my computer) that has some powerful lyrics. Can you relate to the things she shares?
These are just a few of the highlights…how was your week? I hope you’ll share below!!
Your Nature photos are really fantastic Michele, thank you for sharing them every week and really digging the Alanis Intro on her song (I love her)
Thank you, Meg! I thought Alanis’ intro was really powerful and I’m so glad to have found a video that included it!
I am drawn to nature too even though I live NYC. Love your bird photos and you’ve inspired me to do a little self care today.
Thank you for stopping by! Nature is incredible. As someone I met at the nature center shared, we can learn so much about life from nature – I just think that’s amazing!
Livin’ la vida! Got such a kick out of the nature photography and hearing about the positive steps you’re taking. Still coming out from the Funk Cave and catching up with the rest of the world – and reading this was one great way of doing so!
There are so many options in life for tools to help us on our journey. I am grateful to have access to them. It can make a world of difference:) Looking forward to you being fully out of that cave:) Your light shining helps me to find my way!
this is one healthy bursting with life and joy bliss list!

Michele–Oh, my favorites on your bliss list are your bird photos, beautiful! Have a good weekend!
Thanks, Janet! I do love my birds:) You have an awesome weekend too!
Outstanding photos – love nature photos. Your list is amazing. I hope Alanis lives over 100 but not me, I don’t want to live that long. Life has a lot of ups and downs and mine have turned down for some time now.
Thanks Ruth! I do love nature and I’m not sure I want to live to 100 either but if I’m doing well, I think it would be awesome!!
A great blog post Michele. I love how you are doing lots of self-care with yoga, fresh fruits and veggies and so much more. You really connect with birds and little animals, I love seeing all these photos in your blog posts. A huge breakthrough that is such an awesome feeling and place to be. Enjoy! 🙂
It is all good:) Really have so much to be thankful for and enjoy:)
