It’s that time again and I’m ready to share. I don’t know that I had a lot of moments of bliss this week but the ones I had were awesome. Here are the highlights:
I had an awesome time with Kayla, my daughter, feeding the geese. All the babies are so fun to watch. I kind of feel like they are my babies. The food made the parents somewhat agreeable to us being pretty close. Food=friends in geese-speak. I also did an art piece for an online magazine. We’ll see if it makes it into the next issue:)
My latest ecourse started on Monday and I’m having a blast. The interviews I received from women who are successfully offering ecourses already are awesome and full of insights. The participants are ready to work and have a ton of ideas they are exploring. Watching others realize their dreams is a passion of mine so this is really fun!!
Although I had a weird, “off” day mid-week, it ended great and I got a ton done so all the time I lost was made up. Plus, I had a good laugh off the loss of my ice cream and Comcast listing me as Huong Tha Duon on the caller ID when I call people. Who doesn’t love a good laugh.
The weather has been awesome and I’m so grateful for my new A/C. Not only that but something shifted for me this last week…I can’t really explain it because I’ve felt like I’m “at home” since I moved into my new place a few months ago but this week I felt like I “own” this space. It is mine and I’m exactly where I need to be. This space was made for me.
I had an awesome Mother’s Day in this home of mine with my daughter, Kayla, and my ex (so nice to be able to remain supportive and drama-free). Together they, along with his sister, made me dinner. It was delicious. I also had brunch with my Mom in the AM which was great too. We make it a point to get together once a month and I really enjoy that time.
Lastly, I launch registration for my upcoming free discussion group on the book by Marcus Buckingham, Find Your Strongest Life. I just love Marcus Buckingham, not just because he’s dreamy, but also because of his message. This book is all about living an unbalanced life, being happy and fulfilled, learning not to juggle and more! Some of these concepts may seem odd but they’ll make sense soon enough.
Thanks again to Liv Lane for the reminder to remember and celebrate the blissful moments of my week.
